Global Journey for Sustainability by Burkasan

At Burkasan, we continue to make significant strides toward becoming a global player in the recycling industry. Our long-standing partnership with Unilever has solidified our leadership in the bottle-to-bottle use of recycled plastics in Turkey. This collaboration plays a key role in helping Unilever achieve its sustainability goals.
Our plastic recycling facility in Bursa, with its capacity to produce 99% pure recycled plastic, meets the highest industry standards. With our cutting-edge technology, we are not only strengthening our partnerships with global brands but also positioning Burkasan as a key supplier in the global market. Additionally, our investment in the solar energy plant (GES) at our Turanköy facility significantly reduces our carbon footprint, contributing to our environmental sustainability goals.
Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Unilever’s teams from Turkey and abroad at our Turanköy facility. During this visit, we discussed recent developments and future collaboration opportunities. We also had the opportunity to present our projects to a wider audience during a workshop held at Unilever’s office in Istanbul. These discussions about positioning Burkasan as a global supplier of recycled raw materials are an exciting step forward for us.
